Hampton Gates in Production

Behind the Scenes: Hampton Gates in Production Take a look inside one of our Solihull workshops, where a pair of Hampton-style gates are being fitted with porcelain tile inserts. Fencing system with Kenilworth gates

Another nice installation here from Avon Gates, we have used our custom Fencing system to match the Kenilworth gates. This system is assembled on site into posts with slots. We used a heavy top and bottom rail to match the frame of the gate. Very simple and neat. Also has the advantage of being able to follow the ground slope if needed.  #aluminiumfencing#aluminiumgates

2G SUNSETTING: Switching off the 2G Network

Impact of 2G Switching off on Intercoms If you are in the market for an intercom, it is important to make an informed choice to ensure it will function past 2025. In the UK, two of the three service providers for the 2G network, EE and Vodaphone, have announced that they will switch off their 2G networks in 2025. This will affect intercoms that are designed to work only with 2G technology, as they will not be compatible with EE and Vodaphone after 2025. Older SIM cards that are 2G... Read More

Aluminium Gates: Slide away…

With many suburban property entrances traditional style swing gates are not a very practical option. Sloping or sweeping driveways usually can’t easily accommodate the opening arc of swing gates. Or situations where using swing gates will only leave limited parking space behind the entrance. This means that using a sliding gate will offer the practicality and privacy desired by most.  However, this is not the only reason for sliding gates’ popularity. They also provide a very secure entrance solution as they inherently provide protection against being forced open from the... Read More

Aluminium Gates: Black is the new Black

The Claverdon Aluminium Gates The stunning centrepiece to this entrance is one of our most popular aluminium gate designs, The Claverdon, finished in Satin Black to complement this beautiful rural residence in Warwickshire. The client had procured a vintage Elizabeth Regina ll Royal Mail post box, re-purposed and finished in Black so that it matched the beams of the property.  This, added to the black pillar-mounted up lighting on both sides, combined with The Claverdon gives the effect of a sharp, clean yet still traditional look meaning the whole frontage is...
