Product Overview

The Locinox VITA is a mechanical surface-mounted code lock designed for swing gates equipped with an insert lock. Featuring a robust aluminium housing and a stainless steel mechanism, this keypad provides simple, maintenance-free access control without any wiring or batteries. The PIN code can be easily changed or removed without dismantling, and both entry and exit codes can be set independently. Available as a double-sided version with a keypad on both sides, or a single-sided version with one keypad and free exit via handle.

Available as a standalone code lock or as a complete kit. Kit versions include the VITA code lock, a compatible Locinox insert lock (FORTYLOCK for 40mm profiles, FIFTYLOCK for 50mm profiles), and a matching strike keep — everything needed for a complete installation.

Installation

The VITA is mounted to the gate profile using two bolts, with minimal profile preparation required. The access code can be configured and changed quickly without dismantling the lock or keypad. An installation video is available from Locinox.

Usage Instructions

Enter the PIN code on the keypad to operate the connected insert lock. On double-sided versions, independent codes can be set for entry and exit. On single-sided versions, exit is via the handle on the inside with no code required. The code resets automatically after each handle operation. The integrated security press plate must be pressed before entering the code to prevent bystanders from detecting button patterns.

Configurations

The VITA is available in Silver (anodised) and Black (RAL 9005 powder coated). Choose between single-sided (one keypad with free exit) or double-sided (keypad on both sides). Available for 40 mm and 50 mm gate profiles. All variants include a euro profile cylinder keyed to differ. Kit versions bundle everything needed for a complete gate lock installation.

Safety and Maintenance

The VITA is entirely maintenance-free thanks to its robust mechanical design. Periodically check that the keypad buttons move freely and that the connected insert lock operates smoothly. Ensure the security press plate functions correctly. Designed and manufactured in Europe.

Delivery Policy

Standard Shipping Charges:

• For standard UK Mainland orders a charge of £12.50 + VAT is applied per consignment. Charges for palletised or length deliveries will be advised at checkout

Non UK Mainland Shipping:

• For orders shipped outside the UK mainland, a shipping fee of £30 plus VAT is charged.

Special Shipping Charges for Heavy or Large Items:

• Certain products in our range that are either too heavy or too large will have their own shipping prices. This will be clearly indicated on the product page and during the checkout process.

Delivery Times

• We strive to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible. with all orders received before 1pm shipped on a next day service*, This is not guaranteed. Standard delivery times within the UK are 3-5 business days. Non UK Mainland delivery times may vary.

Discepancies

• Any discrepancies or damage to goods ordered must be reported to Arden Gates within 24 hours of receipt. Outside of these times it will be deemed that the goods arrived complete and in a satisfactory condition.
• Any missing items outside of these terms will be chargeable.

Returns Policy

Returns:

• If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 30 days of receipt. The item must be in its original condition and packaging.

• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
• If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain number of days.

Exchanges:

• We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact our customer service.

Return Shipping:

• You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
