Installation Instructions
- Drill 2 x 9mm (3/8") dia. holes at 92mm (3-5/8") centers for M8 fixing bolt.
- Drill 18mm (3/4") clearance hole for latchbolt at 22mm (7/8") centers down from the top 9mm (3/8") hole.
- Fix lock in place using stainless steel clamp plate, bolt support plate, and 2 stainless steel countersunk fixing bolts supplied.
- Drill clearance hole in gate post to receive the latchbolt. Slot this hole vertically to allow for gate sag. Fix the strike plate and bend back so the latchbolt slides smoothly.
- Ensure the latchbolt moves freely without binding on the gate or frame.
- To adjust latchbolt length and/or change to RH/LH, insert a 3mm (1/8") long arm hex key (supplied) into the end of the bolt and release the locking screw. Rotate the bolt as required and re-tighten the locking screw. Lubricate with light oil periodically.
Maintenance
Every 3 months:
- Remove keypads from the lock.
- Spray the inside of the lock thoroughly with WD40 or equivalent through the tumbler holes at the back of the lock.
- Spray all the fixing accessories and the latch with WD40 or equivalent. Push each of the buttons and rotate the knob several times to ensure the lock is working smoothly.

Delivery Policy
Standard Shipping Charges:
- For standard UK Mainland orders a charge of £12.50 + VAT is applied per consignment. Charges for palletised or length deliveries will be advised at checkout
Non UK Mainland Shipping:
- For orders shipped outside the UK mainland, a shipping fee of £30 plus VAT is charged.
Special Shipping Charges for Heavy or Large Items:
- Certain products in our range that are either too heavy or too large will have their own shipping prices. This will be clearly indicated on the product page and during the checkout process.
Delivery Times
- We strive to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible. with all orders received before 1pm shipped on a next day service*, This is not guaranteed. Standard delivery times within the UK are 3-5 business days. Non UK Mainland delivery times may vary.
Discepancies
- Any discrepancies or damage to goods ordered must be reported to Arden Gates within 24 hours of receipt. Outside of these times it will be deemed that the goods arrived complete and in a satisfactory condition.
- Any missing items outside of these terms will be chargeable.
Returns Policy
Returns:
*Please note there is a 15% restocking charge for all returns*
- If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 30 days of receipt. The item must be in its original condition and packaging.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain number of days.
Exchanges:
- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact our customer service.
Return Shipping:

- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
