The Gatemaster BQ Superlock bolt-on quick exit no outside access lock is designed for gates that are used solely for exiting a property. Featuring a green push pad for quick exit from the inside, this lock provides a secure and unobtrusive locking mechanism. Made from stainless steel, the BQ NA Superlock ensures ultimate outdoor durability and long-lasting performance. It is perfect for securing box section metal gate frames up to 60mm.

Product Description

The Gatemaster BQ Superlock bolt-on quick exit no outside access lock is an ideal solution for gates that only require exit functionality. The green push pad on the inside facilitates rapid exit, while the lack of external access ensures security. The slim design and adjustable latchbolt make it easy to fit on most gate frames, providing a secure and durable locking solution.

Constructed from stainless steel, the BQ NA Superlock is built to withstand outdoor conditions, offering long-term durability and reliability. The latchbolt moves 15mm (5/8") into the gatepost, providing a deep and secure lock. The lock is supplied with a bolt guide plate and a gate post strike plate for straightforward installation. A security shroud is also available to prevent unauthorized access to the push pad from the outside.

This lock is non-handed, making it suitable for both left and right hand gates. It comes in four models to fit different gate frame sizes and orientations:

• BQ1030LNA: Fits 10-30mm (1/2" - 1-1/4") gate frames - left hand
• BQ4060LNA: Fits 40-60mm (1-1/2" - 2-1/4") gate frames - left hand
• BQ1030RNA: Fits 10-30mm (1/2" - 1-1/4") gate frames - right hand
• BQ4060RNA: Fits 40-60mm (1-1/2" - 2-1/4") gate frames - right hand

Installation Instructions

1. Drill 2 x 9mm (3/8") holes at 140mm (5 1/2") centres for fixing bolts provided.
2. Drill an 18mm (3/4") clearance hole for the latchbolt at 60mm (2 3/8") centres up from the bottom fixing hole.
3. Hold the lock against the back of the box section and screw on the latchbolt through the larger hole.
4. Lock the latchbolt with the hex key supplied by inserting the hex key into the end of the latchbolt.
5. Fix the lock in place using the stainless steel bolt support plate and the countersunk screws provided. Ensure the latchbolt moves freely.
6. Fix the strike plate by either welding or screw fixing onto the gate post.

Maintenance

Every 3 months:

1. Remove keypads from the lock.
2. Spray the inside of the lock thoroughly with WD40 or equivalent through the tumbler holes at the back of the lock.
3. Spray all the fixing accessories and the latch with WD40 or equivalent. Push each of the buttons and rotate the knob several times to ensure the lock is working smoothly.

Delivery Policy

Standard Shipping Charges:

• For standard UK Mainland orders a charge of £12.50 + VAT is applied per consignment. Charges for palletised or length deliveries will be advised at checkout

Non UK Mainland Shipping:

• For orders shipped outside the UK mainland, a shipping fee of £30 plus VAT is charged.

Special Shipping Charges for Heavy or Large Items:

• Certain products in our range that are either too heavy or too large will have their own shipping prices. This will be clearly indicated on the product page and during the checkout process.

Delivery Times

• We strive to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible. with all orders received before 1pm shipped on a next day service*, This is not guaranteed. Standard delivery times within the UK are 3-5 business days. Non UK Mainland delivery times may vary.

Discepancies

• Any discrepancies or damage to goods ordered must be reported to Arden Gates within 24 hours of receipt. Outside of these times it will be deemed that the goods arrived complete and in a satisfactory condition.
• Any missing items outside of these terms will be chargeable.

Returns Policy

Returns:

*Please note there is a 15% restocking charge for all returns*

• If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 30 days of receipt. The item must be in its original condition and packaging.

• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
• If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain number of days.

Exchanges:

• We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact our customer service.

Return Shipping:

• You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
