The kit comes with either a standard wrap-around hinge (APS) or a stop hinge (APSSTOP) that prevents the gate from opening more than 100°.

The APS Hydraulic Gate Closer & Hinge Kit is an advanced solution for gates requiring reliable and safe self-closing functionality. The hydraulic closer and hinge kit is suitable for gates weighing up to 150kg and does not require any power source, making it an efficient and eco-friendly choice. The closer unit, fitted underneath the gate, also serves as a load-bearing lower hinge, ensuring robustness and stability.

The kit includes fully adjustable closing and latching speed settings, compliant with ROSPA standards, to provide controlled and safe gate operation. The hydraulic gate closer is unobtrusive and highly resistant to vandalism, ensuring long-lasting durability and security. Additionally, the top hinge assembly is fully adjustable, allowing for precise gate positioning after installation.

The APS kit comes in two versions:

• APS: Hydraulic gate closer with standard wrap-around hinge
• APSSTOP: Kit with a special stop hinge to prevent the gate from opening more than 100°, protecting the closer from damage

Installation Instructions

1. Ensure the gate frame is securely mounted and the gate is properly aligned.
2. Attach the hydraulic gate closer unit underneath the gate, ensuring it acts as the load-bearing lower hinge.
3. Install the top hinge assembly, adjusting as necessary to position the gate correctly.
4. Adjust the closing and latching speed settings to ensure safe and controlled gate operation.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and proper functioning of the APS Hydraulic Gate Closer & Hinge Kit:

1. Check all bolts and screws regularly to ensure they are tight and secure.
2. Lubricate the moving parts every six months with light oil to maintain smooth operation.

Delivery Policy

Standard Shipping Charges:

• For standard UK Mainland orders a charge of £12.50 + VAT is applied per consignment. Charges for palletised or length deliveries will be advised at checkout

Non UK Mainland Shipping:

• For orders shipped outside the UK mainland, a shipping fee of £30 plus VAT is charged.

Special Shipping Charges for Heavy or Large Items:

• Certain products in our range that are either too heavy or too large will have their own shipping prices. This will be clearly indicated on the product page and during the checkout process.

Delivery Times

• We strive to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible. with all orders received before 1pm shipped on a next day service*, This is not guaranteed. Standard delivery times within the UK are 3-5 business days. Non UK Mainland delivery times may vary.

Discepancies

• Any discrepancies or damage to goods ordered must be reported to Arden Gates within 24 hours of receipt. Outside of these times it will be deemed that the goods arrived complete and in a satisfactory condition.
• Any missing items outside of these terms will be chargeable.

Returns Policy

Returns:

*Please note there is a 15% restocking charge for all returns*

• If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 30 days of receipt. The item must be in its original condition and packaging.

• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
• If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain number of days.

Exchanges:

• We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact our customer service.

Return Shipping:

• You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
