New installation in Stratford upon Avon: The Cotswold sliding Gate – Possibly our neatest contemporary access control solution

This recently installed Arden Gates Cotswold fully boarded sliding Aluminium gate is a faithful reproduction of a traditional timber gate. With stunning attention to detail, fully welded joints and weather capping, it’s finished to give the appearance of a superior quality hardwood painted gate.

We have invested in the latest state of the art machinery and have a highly skilled and motivated workforce to ensure your gates are produced efficiently and to the highest possible standards. We welcome visitors to call in to meet the team and see the gates in production at our workshops in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. (Arden Gates is only a mile from two lovely national trust properties, Packwood House and Baddesley Clinton, B94 6EJ)

Our gates are made entirely in Aluminium and finished with a tough, hard wearing Polyester powder coating.  We work with the vast RAL colour range and can match most Farrow and Ball or Dulux colours, this particular gate for our client in Stratford Upon Avon is finished in RAL 7032

These gates are particularly rigid and will never rot or warp. Our frames and boards are stronger than any others we’ve worked with and the fully welded design gives them enhanced rigidity making them more suitable for automating than the usual bolted together designs widely available on the market.

Frames are constructed from a reinforced 140 x 60 x 3mm wall section and the boards are 150 x 25 x 2mm wide, wall tongue and groove. These wider boards are traditionally used on higher quality hardwood gates than the 100mm wide used on the cheaper, more widely available gates.

We also fabricate our own Galvanised Track to run the gate on. Our track is designed to be the neatest and strongest available. Your block paving, tarmac or even gravel drive can finish directly under the 18mm rail that the gate runs on leaving no ugly exposed steel or concrete plinth that other types need for support. See photos attached and separate listings on our site. This gate can also made on a Cantilever sliding system for driveways that are sloping off to one side. We recommend the traditional system where the gates slides on a rail whenever possible as it is neater, less expensive and needs less maintenance than the cantilever system. Our rigid frame design makes it ideal for large sliding or swing gates, we can accommodate gates up to 8m long in a single leaf sliding or 5m. wide per leaf on a swing gate.

We work with a number of approved installers across the UK, please call for details or see the link to the approved installers Map on our homepage.
