All the Compact Adjustable safety edges are 8k2 (8.2k ohm), so need to be connected to a control board with 8k2 functionality. The 8k2 resistors allow monitoring of the safety edge or edges so that they comply with the latest safety standards.
Once the special resistive tape is removed, the Compact Adjusta can be cut down to any length. The tape length can then be adjusted without the need for gluing or re-sealing and reassembled.
